Why Hire A Tracked Spider Lift?...

Tracked spider lifts are widely used when ladders/scaffolds are slow and larger machines can’t get in. If access is the constraint, a tracked spider is often the most practical way to keep the job safe, efficient, and on schedule.

We regularly support:

Spider lift hire for tree work (tight access, uneven ground, awkward reach)
Spider lift hire for glazing (controlled access for installs and repairs)
Spider lift hire for roofing / guttering (reach along edges, awkward elevations)
Spider lift hire for maintenance (planned and reactive works)
Access platform hire for signage (frontages, retail units, business parks)
MEWP hire for facilities management (ongoing site and building maintenance)
Access platform hire for indoor work (model/site dependent)

How hire works (simple):

Send postcode + dates + rough height
We confirm the right spider + availability
Deliver / brief / collect (same-day quote)

North West coverage: Manchester • Liverpool • Warrington • Preston • Chester • Wigan (+ surrounding areas)

Spider Lift Rental Self-Drive or Operated Hire?...

You don’t need a complicated spider lift hire menu. You need the fastest route to the job getting done.

Self-Drive Tracked Spider Lift Rental

Self drive tracked spider lift hire is ideal when you’ve got competent staff on site and want full flexibility. This is our tracked spider hire self drive option — we deliver the tracked spider, confirm it suits your site, and collect it when you’re finished. It’s simple, efficient, and works brilliantly for planned jobs where you want control of the schedule.

Operated Tracked Spider Lift Rental

Operated tracked spider lift hire is for when you want the smoothest outcome with the least friction. If access is tight, the site is awkward, or you’d rather not worry about operation on the day, choose spider lift hire with operator. Our operator option reduces the “what if” moments and keeps the work moving — especially on short-notice or higher-risk tasks.

At a glance:

Self-drive: spider lift hire self drive / flexibility + control
Operated: spider lift hire with operator / smoother on-site workflow

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Global have been an excellent local supplier for us on this particular job. Being a commercial premises and all needing to be above board with H&S, I couldn’t have found a more thorough and responsive supplier. All docs where in hand in preparation for the work to begin, and the team on site where co-operative and efficient. Hopefully some work in the pipeline for the near future, at least I can rest assured that I have a quality supplier on our doorstep. Daryl (Borregaard UK Ltd)

The Global team were extremely professional and accommodating from start to finish providing us with full peace of mind with their knowledge on the relevant safety standards which were backed up with inclusive designs. The overall system has been manufactured and installed to a very high standard and my team is made up. I would fully recommend Global Platforms and will be returning again.
